Hi, my name is Yankho V. Kachaje and I was born and raised as a human in Malawi, the warm heart of Africa. I am definitely not an extra terrestrial being. I did my secondary school studies at Kalibu Academy in Malawi and earned my Bachelor's degree in Film Arts: Motion Design at Open Window Institute in South Africa in June 2022.
I love art and the idea that I can create whatever I imagine on paper, canvas and screen. 2D art and animation have been my passions ever since I was 12 years old when I first started out making stopmotion animations on my tiny camera. Now I want to create works that challenge people to think differently about life and mortality because I believe engaging with the absurd nature of mortality makes living so much richer.
I am also a huge gaming nerd and mostly love playing rpgs, shooters and metroidvania games. I'm a reading nerd too - 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' is my favorite novel series ever.
