This is an original music video I made in practical exploration of my honors degree in visual communication. The research I did was to explore how absurdist adult animation can be used to address Christian religious trauma. My goal is not to condemn Christianity or religion, but to present absurdist adult animation as a solution to address religious trauma and create a space for audiences to reflect on the abuse that is prevalent in toxic (religious) social environments.

This is an original proof of concept title sequence for a series called Maravi that I designed and animated for a 3rd Year Motion Design Assignment. It is an Afrofuturistic take on the Yao creation myth with more depth and complexity. It is not meant to be an accurate telling of the Yao creation myth, but a story heavily based on it with personal style.
